Starfield Now Has The One Feature Everyone Wanted At Launch

While it can be lonely to explore the universe in , a new mod should make filling up the silence of space a little easier. Upon the release of Bethesda's massive sci-fi RPG, many players were excited to climb into their starships and blast off into space, charting whatever course they wished. Unfortunately, it soon became clear that those trips would be punctuated by plenty of dead air but fortunately for players willing to go the extra mile, a healthy dose of music can now be played to make those trips more fun.

Per a post by argent25 on Nexus Mods, «Radio Shows» mods serves as an expansion for the "Galactic Radio" add-on, bringing with it a handful of additional tunes and adding even more variety to the available mix of music. With several personalities serving as hosts, these extra stations include a variety of new genres, including J-Pop, Synthwave, and old-school Hawaiin music. Collectively, the mod adds just over four hours of extra audio content to meaning players shouldn't grow bored of hearing the curated tracks any time soon.

While did feature some form of radio broadcast systems for players exploring towns and cities, the game's community has openly expressed its disappointment that music isn't available when inside ships. Given that Bethesda's series featured an iconic assortment of radio stations that could be listened to while walking around The Wasteland, many expected something similar in the studio's latest release. When the game launched, modders were quick to address the issue by releasing an add-on that included several radio stations that could be tuned into and out of at any point in the game.

Despite its release in late 2023, Bethesda has remained relatively quiet on what fans can expect in 's future.
