Incredible Starfield Ship Build Is Straight Out Of A Classic Disney Movie

Building one's own ship in may just be the game's best feature so one talented player managed to create a design that evokes the energy of one of Disney's most underrated animated movies. Embedding itself in an aesthetic developer Bethesda Game Studios describes as «NASA-punk,» the look and feel of is very much grounded in a more realistic take on the future. Yet sometimes, it pays to look to the past for inspiration, even if the result is somewhat unconventional by the standards of sci-fi.

Over on Reddit, user_hell_o shared their creation of a ship modeled on a classic Frigate, equipped with three massive masts and a wide deck that's pushed through space by two clusters of jet engines.

Named the «Black Peach,» the design manages to channel the future-steampunk aesthetic of the classic movie which includes starships modeled on 18th Century naval vessels that «sail» the stars using solar-powered sails and engines. Fellow Reddit users were quick to comment that it reminded them of the movie, further illustrating its excellent construction.

While _hell_o's creation is by no means the first ship built to resemble a classic ocean-faring vessel, it's easily one of the best examples of how a talented player can make full use of the game's customization options. The amount of credits needed to purchase each component must have been astronomical and the very fact that the final product is deemed space-worthy feels like a miracle.
