Stardew Valley Fan Shows Off An Incredibly Rare 1.6 Update Easter Egg

In a game like that's already overflowing with secrets, one fan's discovery of a new, seemingly rare Easter egg is definitely cause for excitement. Over the course of the farming RPG's development, creator ConcernedApe has quietly added plenty of special details and features that only the most dedicated players have managed to unearth. While the animation of the developer's logo that occurs when it's clicked a few times during 's start-up is one of the more commonly-known secrets, a recent discovery suggests there's even more to unearth.

Posted to Reddit by user Glittering_Taste2105,the player shared a screenshot of their game's starting screen that looks distinctly different from the standard white background with logos that many have come to expect.

This new version sees the intro take place with a light green backdrop that's populated by swirling leaves while a trio of dancing Junimos replaces the «Developed by ConcernedApe» sign. The community is still trying to figure out what prompts the Easter egg to occur and while many have tried to replicate it, the current theory is that it just randomly happens.

Aside from those Easter eggs hidden during the Egg Festival in Spring, is simply overflowing with unique items, locations, and interactions to discover. Following the release of the massive 1.6 Update which added a wealth of new content, the community got back to work trying to unearth and document everything that's new. It's believed the the Junimo starting screen was included in the last major patch given that some users have stated that they saw it shortly after downloading the update when it dropped back in March.

Perhaps one of the most fun Easter eggs added by the 1.6 Update is the Meowmere Sword, a unique weapon that can only be obtained by completing an obscure series of tasks and which also serves as a fun nod to another indie darling.
