Mortal Kombat 1 Goes Free-To-Play Mode For This Weekend Only, Gets a 40% Discount as Well

Warner Bros has decided to make Mortal Kombat 1 free-to-play for this weekend, from today to 10th March, along with providing a sweet 40% discount on Steam.

Well, the limited-time trial version will only allow you to access the first two chapters in the single-player campaign, along with giving access to all online and local multiplayer modes. This is an attempt most likely to gain attraction from the gaming community to provide them with the chance to experience the fighting experience without paying a penny out of their wallet, at least until the trial version lasts. So, for those wanting to have a take on Mortal Kombat 1, you can download the "Free Play Weekend" from your respective platform store.
