Unlocking high-tier gear and weapons will allow you to build powerful loadouts for each member of your squad.

Spending a number of resources can turn your weaker gear or weapons you get first in into Elite items. The transition process could cost several Credits, B-Technology, Itertron, and other rare substances like Nth Metal. You'll need to investigate what materials are needed to upgrade individual items for different characters, especially as you get better and better loot throughout the game.

You can unlock Elite weapons and gear by recruiting the Toyman to the Hall of Justice during a certain section of the story.
