Helldivers 2 Fan Creates a Real-Life Propaganda Broadcast for Super Earth

Taking his passion for democracy one step further, a fanhas created his own Super Earth broadcasting service to keep players informed on the state of the galactic war. Keeping in tune with the satirical nature of the game, players of the co-op shooter are all working together to «liberate» planets from the evil forces of the Terminids and Automatons in a large-scale meta-game. To track their progress, Arrowhead has inserted several fictional news broadcasts that keep Helldivers informed of their contributions to the war effort, but one user has taken this propaganda to the next level.

Over on TikTok,user Super Earth Broadcast (via ) is uploading «educational» videos for Helldivers to both enjoy and learn about the state of Super Earth's intergalactic campaigns.

Many of the videos are dedicated to highlighting successful pushes on some of 's more contested planets like Mort and Malevelon. There's even an exclusive interview with notorious team-killer GantzTheDemon where the SEB questions the player about what are deemed "" activities.

The Super Earth Broadcast channel is currently managed by only a single person who goes by Finnegan. Speaking to, the creator explained that he doesn't prepare a script for the brief minute-long episodes but instead looks at the in-game galactic map and comments on successful missions while also highlighting sectors that are struggling to hold back the hordes of enemies. All the footage is captured by Finnegan himself, and the fan uses generative AI to create the various voices that provide narration over the clips.

After 's meteoric success, Finnegan further explained that while he knew there was a community of invested players,he never thought he'd manage to attain his current following, which numbers in the hundreds of thousands.
