During the 2024 Game Developers Conference, developer Larian officially announced that it won't be developing any DLC, expansions, or sequels to , as reported by . Whatever Larian's next game will be, according to studio founder and director of Swen Vincke, it won't have anything to do with .

Despite previous talk of the possibility of DLC, nothing was ever confirmed or denied until this official announcement.
