There may be a variety of reasons a player chooses to do so: moving to a new city can provide a larger, more loyal fan base, or simply give a struggling team a new start. Packing up and moving a team to uncharted territory can also provide a challenge for an experienced player.

Relocating a team in is as simple as opening the "" menu, selecting "," and then "." Although it's technically possible to move any team to any relocation city, there are some restrictions on the process. For example, players are limited to certain names when rebranding their relocation teams, and certain stats unique to each city can cause a variety of effects.
