Texas Chain Saw Massacre Update Nerfs Perks

The latest update for asymmetrical horror game TheTexas Chain Saw Massacre game is here, featuring a range of perk adjustments, including nerfs and fixes. The balance changes affect a number of perks, as well as issues with the new Victim in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

The March 28 update introduced the latest new character to Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Virginia, as well as the newest map titled The Mill. As the last new content update, this most recent patch adds more items for players to try out in-game.

April 30's patch focuses on different perks, nerfing some and buffing others. The biggest change affects the Empowered perk. Previously, it restored health to Victims after surviving a close encounter. This was changed to regaining stamina, a definite nerf to the survival of characters. Another healing perk, Texas Chain Saw Massacre's Extra Drip, was also nerfed. Before this patch, it would restore six health points for 12 seconds. Now, it only restores three health over 12 seconds. Health is an important stat to keep full and this method of healing being taken away can potentially change multiple play styles.

One of the best family perks in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Fired Up, was adjusted to lessen the stamina delay before it starts regenerating. Level 1 is now a 25% delay, with each level increasing by another 25%. The Fast Hands perk was fixed, accurately reducing the trigger to when a killer gets within 10 meters of a Victim. It was also adjusted to increase progress in the minigame when a Family member is near. At level three, a player will receive 75% additional progress when lockpicking.

The patch also includes the free level 99 content for committed Texas Chain Saw Massacre players. Implemented as a thank you to the community, every character will get a new cosmetic. Sissy also has a new paid cosmetic available, the Wildflower Outfit. These additions, though minor, are a conscious effort to mend bridges with the fan base and add more end game features for
