Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Leaks Deathstroke

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is reportedly set to bring popular DC villain Deathstroke in its Season 4 update. If the leaks are true, the deadly assassin's arrival in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will mark his first appearance in the Arkhamverse since featuring in 2015's Batman Arkham Knight.

It's no secret that Rocksteady's latest Arkhamverse game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, deviates from the company's single-player legacy and dives right into the typical live-service formula prevalent in gaming these days. Despite its controversial traits such as microtransactions, live-service games fortunately do promise a seasonal cycle of fresh in-game content. Most recently, the Suicide Squad game received the Joker in Season 1, and it seems another Batman villain may follow in a future update.

As leaked on Twitter by tipster Miller Ross, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will re-introduce Deathstroke in the Arkhamverse with the Season 4 update, which is scheduled for January 2025. According to the post, Season 4 will see Batman return to Metropolis to rebuild the Justice League, alongside Flash and Green Lantern, in the aftermath of the game's events. Further, the post reveals that Deathstroke will be a playable character, caught up in the dilemma of whether to aid his nemesis or not.

An interesting detail revealed by the leak confirms that Kevin Conroy will posthumously voice the Dark Knight in the game's Season 4 update. Moreover, the leak mentions that events of Season 4 will lead to a finale in Season 5 where the re-unified Justice League and ARGUS will end Brainiac's rule for good. Given there have been rumors about Deathstroke arriving in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League prior to this, the masked villain's inclusion in the game seems imminent at some point.
