Some MultiVersus Fans Think Barbie is Coming to the Game

MultiVersus has published a new tweet, and some players are now thinking about Barbie's possible appearance in the game. After a long wait, MultiVersus is finally coming back on May 28. Players are looking forward to what Warner Bros. Interactive's fighting game has in store after enjoying a good reception during the beta.

Joining the list of Super Smash Bros. clones, MultiVersus offers its twist by pitting characters from different Warner properties in battle, such as Bugs Bunny and Taz from Looney Tunes, Game of Thrones's Arya Stark, and even the lovable Iron Giant. But with the end of the beta came the surprise that MultiVersus would go offline to return at a later date. This year, MultiVersus confirmed new features that players will find in the brawler and revealed significant changes, such as the inclusion of parry mechanics. MultiVersus has now released another promotional image, and players suspect it may indicate good news.

MultiVersus has published a new tweet that is making some players believe that Barbie may be joining the game's roster. With the caption «What happened in the off-season?,» recalling MultiVersus' unexpected hiatus, the tweet shows the answer «saw the hit movie of the summer» written in Barbie's official font. The image has Harley Quinn, Superman, Shaggy, and Velma wearing pink clothes, with a pink house in the background, referencing the movie directed by Greta Gerwig.

MultiVersus' «Barbie tweet» isn't the first tease made recently about future content players might see in Warner Bros. Interactive's fighting game. Previously, MultiVersus released a teaser showing cel-shaded skins for Superman, LeBron James, Velma, Taz, and Jake from Adventure Time. In a second tweet, a fan found evidence that a highly requested MultiVersus skin may be coming, giving Finn the Human his iconic robotic arm and the Night Sword. In another post, the official MultiVersus Twitter suggested that Powerpuff Girls may also be on their way.
