Ryujinx Already Runs Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake at 60FPS

Ryujinx, one of the last remaining major Nintendo Switch emulators, is already able to run today's Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake at 60FPS.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is out today for the Nintendo Switch, but those owning the Remake's ROM were already able to successfully run and play the game on PC through the Ryujinx Switch emulator. Not only that, but the emulator managed to run the game at 60FPS, whereas, on Nintendo's platform, the game is locked at 30FPS. In addition, the game runs in higher resolutions on PC than on the Switch. We've included a video of Ryujinx running the game emulated on PC below (courtesy of 'Reznoire') below:

As most of you will know, this isn't the first time that a Switch title is playable on PC on launch day - as a matter of fact, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Wonder could already be played ahead of their global Switch release.

In other Paper Mario-related news - as covered earlier today - Nintendo's remake seemingly contains a 4K performance profile, which might be related to Nintendo's upcoming Switch successor.
