Astro Bot developer Team Asobi wanted to fill a gap in PlayStation's portfolio that went missing when some of its studios pivoted to "mature, hyper-realistic games."

A recent trip to the Team Asobi studio made by VGC revealed upcoming plans for a DLC for Astro Bot, a game that will be released on September 6. For those who have already played it, the game is highly revered and scored 94 on Metacritic, making it Universally Acclaimed. When people get around to playing it, they may want more from Astro Bot. With the trip that VGC made to Team Asobi, it has been confirmed that there is a DLC coming, which adds to Speedrun mode and challenge levels for those who want to push themselves to the limit.
Astro Bot is the highest-rated standalone game of 2024 so far, according to Metacritic.

Players can expect plenty of references from previous PlayStation games, allowing them to get heavily involved in the nostalgia of previous consoles. Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment released the first of five trailers in the series 'Behind the Scenes of ASTRO BOT.'
