Palworld Player Breeds Super-Fast Direhowl

A dedicated Palworld player has bred an incredibly fast Direhowl. These rideable wolf-like Pals are already “slightly faster than most mounts” according to their Partner Skill, so this well-bred Direhowl is impressively quick. Considering all there is to explore and accomplish in Palworld, having a fast mount can be a smart addition to a team.

In Palworld, players can breed Pals to collect the strongest creatures of each type, which is important when creating the best Pals to use as mounts, warriors, workers on the farm, and more. While every Pal comes with a set of skills and passive buffs, breeding enables players to create Pals with optimized abilities. The breeding process in Palworld is quite complicated and requires new structures, rare ingredients, and even cooking. Additionally, passive skills are passed down from parent Pals, so players should be prepared to hunt a lot to collect the best skills based on what abilities their desired Pal needs.

In this case, Palworld player DaD_Maiden bred a four-star Direhowl with three speed-related passive skills, making for a super-fast mount. To create Midnight, DaD_Maiden had to breed several eggs to collect the ideal speedy passives, in addition to capturing several other Direhowls to use in a Pal Essense Condenser to max out its Partner Skill at level 5.

The big key to Midnight’s incredible speed was the use of passive skills in Palworld. This speedy Direhowl uses the Lucky passive in addition to three speed-related skills: Swift, Runner, and Nimble, which altogether increase speed by an impressive 60%. To increase the Direhowl’s speed even further, the difficult-to-acquire Legend passive skill could be used to attain an additional 15% increase in movement speed. Beyond this selective and time-consuming breeding process, DaD_Maiden also chose to fully level up their Pal’s Partner Skill in order to maximize speed.
