Palworld Player Finds Beautiful Pool, Ruins It

A Palworld player has discovered an idyllic beauty spot and sets about ruining it by filling it with junk. In the short time that the latest title from Pocket Pair has been on sale, it has quickly become a fan-favorite survival game. Thanks to some of the monster designs, Palworld has drawn a few comparisons with the Pokemon franchise.

Since the survival game was released into early access in January 2024, players have been having fun exploring the sprawling world in which they are given a staggering amount of freedom. Some gamers have been spending hours building the perfect Palworld base to protect their favorite Pals from frequent raids. One player, however, has found an idyllic location in the game world and decided to make some interesting modifications to the area.

Going by the handle ihaveflesh on Reddit, the user has posted pictures showing what their Palworld discovery looked like before and after they started making changes. The first picture reveals a picturesque pool on the edge of a cliff surrounded by trees before the player starts making changes. The second capture showcases the modifications to the area, including numerous trash bags, chemical waste barrels, and miscellaneous junk littering the pool. To complete the unconventional base, there’s a tire submerged in the pond.

The post on the r/Palworld subreddit has amassed 3.5k upvotes at the time of writing with some replies commenting on the “modernization” of the area. While ihaveflesh’s post is a tongue-in-cheek post, some of the replies have defended the actions to trash the pool. One user replied stating that the area is a good place to build a base in Palworld as no raids can climb to the beauty spot.
