Palworld Player Breeds Super Overpowered Chikipi

A Palworld player had a random stroke of luck when they bred a Chikipi with higher-than-usual stats. Taking cues from other games, Palworld also has an Internal Values (IV) mechanic, which are hidden stats thatdetermine how Pals' other attributes grow while leveling. The mechanics of breeding in Palworld are subtly complex, showing how developer Pocketpair really did its work in making sure the game is deeper than it seems.

With this system, Palworld developer Pocketpair doesn't directly rip off more established games like Pokemon, as it tried to do something uniqueby introducing passive traits that further influence the growth of certain stats. Base IVs and Passives are random in each Pal, and players can keep breeding until they get a combination that they like.

On the Palworld subreddit, user Shacrone shared the high-powered Chikipi that they bred in the game. This Chikipi, which is level 13, has 1,669 HP, 506 Attack, and 234 Defense, with the Passive Skills Lucky, Legend, Ferocious, and Musclehead. According to a calculator, the IVs are where the Chikipi shines, with 98.3 for HP, 99.7 for Attack, and 94.0 for Defense, all near the maximum of 100. What this means is, if these numbers turn out to be accurate, the Chikipi will have some relatively insane stats at higher levels.

While Shacrone doesn't make it clear what they did or how many tries it took for them to get that Chikipi, everyone knows that breeding powerful Pals in Palworld is a luck-based endeavor, and many players have already committed long hours trying to get it right. There are some Pals that are better for breeding powerful creations, and those looking to min-max the game may want to catch those for their base. Although other players have waved off the concept of IV-maxing as Palworld doesn't have PvP yet, high stats still help in easily beating the game's PvE bosses.

Players are able to breed even the strongest and rarest Pals in Palworld. No Pal is too big or legendary to breed, although some may
