New Palworld Update v0.1.5.0 Adds Keyboard Key Config, Save Game Backup; Xbox Auto-Save Fix In the Works

Pocketpair has deployed Palworld Update v0.1.5.0 through Steam with the Xbox patch being rolled out soon as well.

This brand-new patch allows players to fully customize their keyboard keys. It also resolves an annoying issue that caused the accumulation of unnecessary data in save files. Another welcome change is the implementation of a save data backup on the game's world selection screen. In addition to these changes, this new update also contains various fixes for player issues as well as base issues alongside tweaks to Pals. For instance, the patch addresses a bug where if a large amount of experience points were gained and the level increased to 50 at once, Pals would not learn any active skills. Also, the update adds measures to prevent the issue where base Pals would wander around and get stuck at the border of the base area. We suggest reading the full patch notes.

"We are currently working on an issue where auto-save fails on the Xbox and Xbox Game Pass versions", Pocketpair writes. "We expect that this will be resolved in an upcoming update."

Palworld is available for PC (Steam) and Xbox globally now. The game has been an amazing success on both platforms - as announced recently, the game has had 15 million players on Steam, and over 10 million players on Xbox. Here's what we wrote about the game in our impressions article:

"Of course, you'd rather collect Pals for the sake of having more willing workers that will help you. Still, it's nice to see that there are benefits to collecting Pals that go beyond having them sitting idly by in a box. If you're
