NetEase Drops Hela Cool Trailer Ahead of Marvel Rivals' Closed Alpha Test

Hela, the Asgardian Goddess of Death, has been officially revealed as a new character joining the Marvel Rivals roster ahead of the closed alpha test beginning this week. NetEase’s latest trailer for the game shows off Hela’s abilities, giving players an idea for what they can expect when they take her into battle (or have the misfortune of facing off against her).

Hela’s primary fire flings a dagger at her enemies, while her alternate fire packs a bit more oomph, assailing her foes with a torrent of blades.

Another ability allows Hela to transform into a raven and teleport to a location.  She’s also able to inflict area-of-effect damage by casting an orb.  Her ultimate ability launches her into the air and barrages enemies below with a number of larger orbs.

Marvel Rivals’ closed alpha test begins May 10 and runs through May 20. Lucky testers will be able to play the game across five different game modes.
