Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater gets its first story trailer

The first story trailer for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater has been released.

Konami had previouslyreleased the first ‘in-engine look’ at the game back in October, but it’s dubbing this the first official trailer.

The trailer doesn’t give a release date for the remake yet, however.

First revealed during a PlayStation Showcase last year, ‘Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater’ will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

“Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater creates a deeply immersive world with enhanced visuals and sounds, using the full potential of Unreal Engine 5 while keeping legacy controls and voice lines from the original title intact,” Xbox‘s description of the game reads.

“A new third-person camera and control layout offers players an intuitive introduction to the beginning of the Metal Gear Solid saga as they step into the boots of Snake in a high-stakes, espionage thriller.”

Konami has confirmed thatneither Hideo Kojima nor Kojima Productions are involved in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

“They are not involved,” a Konami spokesperson said last year.

“However, the development team will work hard to create this remake and also the ports (for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection) so that they can be enjoyed on multiple platforms by even more players all around the world.”
