Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Producer Has Good News For Fans

The producer of the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP remaster has confirmed the game will be getting a physical version alongside a digital release. The remaster of this cult classic Xbox 360 and PS3 hack-and-slash game was originally announced for release in 2023, before it was later delayed to 2024. Dragami Games producer, Yoshimi Yasuda, has been providing fans with steady updates about the progress on Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, including its projected release window of Summer 2024. Yasuda has now confirmed the game won't be saddled with a digital-only re-release, but a boxed copy as well.

The game had a physical and digital release when it launched on PS3 and Xbox 360, and its remaster will do the same thing.

According to Yoshimi Yasuda, the developers of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP received a lot of requests from fans regarding a physical release. He confirmed that alongside the digital download version of RePOP, there will be a physical version available for fans to purchase at launch. He notes that the developers are working on making it available for fans worldwide as well.

Currently, no platforms have been announced for the Lollipop Chainsaw remaster, but considering how the game originally launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360, it's likely that this remaster will be released on current generation PlayStation and Xbox hardware. RePOP could also have a cross-generation debut, similar to another Grasshopper Manufacture developed game, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered. Grasshopper confirmed all the platforms Hell
