Intel Core Ultra 200K “Arrow Lake” CPU Clocks Revealed: Ultra 9 285K 5.7 GHz, Ultra 7 265K 5.5 GHz, Ultra 5 245K 5.2 GHz

Clock speeds of Intel's upcoming Core Ultra 200K "Arrow Lake" Desktop CPUs have been revealed by @OneRaichu, covering all three SKUs.

Intel Core Ultra 200K "Arrow Lake" CPUs Boost Up To 5.7 GHz With Flagship Core Ultra 9 285K Chip

Previously, OneRaichu disclosed the maximum boost clock speeds for the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, both single and all-core frequencies. Now, the reputable leaker has disclosed clocks for the remaining Core Ultra 200K models which include the Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 5 245K and those are also strong given their new architecture and relatively new process technology. So let's take a look at the specifications that each chip will have on offer.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K

The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU will feature 24 cores and 24 threads in an 8 P-Core and 16 E-Core configuration. The P-Cores will be based on the Lion Cove architecture while the E-Cores will use the Skymont architecture. The chip will feature a boost clock of 5.7 GHz across a single-core, 5.4 GHz across all-cores, and 4.6 GHz peak E-Core clocks. The CPU will carry a total of 76 MB cache (36 MB L3 + 40 MB L2) as detailed here. In terms of iGPU, all three Arrow Lake "Core Ultra 200K" CPUs will feature 4 Xe-LPG cores based on the Alchemist architecture.

Following is how the clock speeds compare against previous Core i9 releases:

  • Core Ultra 9 285K - 5.70 GHz (Max)
  • Core i9-14900KS - 6.20 GHz (Max)
  • Core i9-14900K - 6.00 GHz (Max)
  • Core i9-13900KS - 6.00 GHz (Max)
  • Core i9-13900K - 5.80 GHz (Max)
  • Core i9-12900KS - 5.50 GHz (Max)
  • Core i9-12900K - 5.20 GHz (Max)

The Core Ultra 9 285K CPU is 300 Mhz lower clocked than the Core i9-14900K but the latest BIOS patches have reduced the clocks of the 14900K by a big margin, dropping down to 5.5-5.8 GHz or even lower ranges.
