Elden Ring: All Gesture Secrets & Locations

offers players a variety of gestures that can impact the game in unpredictable ways. These can be found pretty much everywhere and are unlocked in many different ways. Although gestures mainly serve as a means of communication between players, some can provoke a reaction from NPCs or even unlock secret areas.

There are two locations the community has discovered that can be unlocked with a gesture; both of them require the Erudition gesture and are located in Liurnia of the Lakes. The new DLC,, introduces five new gestures to the game, two of which have gameplay implications. Aside from those found within the Lands Between, it is worth seeking more in the new expansion.

Dragoncrest Shield Talisman and its variants are located in hard-to-reach locations in Elden Ring but are worth the search for their valuable buff.

Gestures in can be performed by opening the main menu, where you will see the section under 'Pouch' on the right side of your screen. Navigate to the slots on the bottom right side and use the action button to select one.

For those playing on the PlayStation and Xbox, gestures can be associated with a directional movement of the controller. The table below showcases all the options to perform the movement associated with the gesture they wish to use, demonstrated by Unrated 7 for each gaming platform:

Players can only have up to six chosen at a time but can switch them with any they have acquired by following the proper prompt buttons shown at the bottom right of the screen. Click on the gesture you'd like to replace and press the next set of corresponding buttons to either select the new one or test it out.
