How To Get Pollen In V Rising (& What It’s For)

Despite its vampiric themes and aesthetic, is just like many other survival games: players will need to collect a wide variety of resources, including Pollen. In isolation, Pollen resource is relatively mundane, but it's one of two essential ingredients needed for crafting Coarse Thread. Coarse Thread is essential for crafting many items, from inventory expansions to clothing sets.

Pollen in can be obtained from two main sources: harvesting flowers and grinding flowers in the Grinder workstation. This guide assumes players aren't using cheats and console commands, which enable all kinds of potentially immersion-breaking functions, such as spawning items and resources. However, even if Pollen is easy to obtain, there are some specifics to be aware of.

Players looking for Wool Thread in V Rising will be able to farm it at the Dunley Farms or craft it by defeating Meredith, the Bright Archer.

According to the V Rising Wiki, Pollen occasionally drops from harvested flowers and is produced when certain flowers are ground up inside the Grinder workstation. Pollen can be obtained from grinding the following flowers:

Regardless of the flower used, players must process 20 individual flowers in the Grinder to get 10 Pollen. Flowers such as the Mourning Lily can be found in the game world, but a much more reliable way to obtain them is to plant some of many seed varieties and start a garden. With a garden, players don't need to risk sunburn by venturing out of their carefully constructed castles.

The Grinder is a workstation that naturally unlocks as players progress through the game. It's a basic workstation that requires only 8 Planks, 4 Copper Ingots, and 4 Wheatstones.

The Grinder should be placed inside a Workshop Room with Workshop Flooring to be more efficient with resources. This reduces the material cost of crafting by 25%, so only 15 flowers are needed for 10 Pollen.

16 Pollen and 12 Plant Fibres are used to craft Coarse Thread, a key resource for crafting
