Target is running a ‘buy 2, get 1 free’ deal on some of this year’s biggest games

Target is running a ‘buy 2, get 1 free’ deal on a range of products including video games.

Customers can mix and match across different product categories, which also include movies and music.

The offer is available online and in stores until July 13. When VGC checked on Monday there were 644 video games products available, including some of this year’s biggest releases.

They included Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Tekken 8, and Persona 3 Reload.

Amazon is also currently running a ‘3 for the price of 2’ promotion on various products including video games, although the number of titles available is far more limited.

The company recently announced plans to give away 15 ‘free’ games in the run-up to Amazon Prime Day on July 16.

As with the usual monthly Prime Gaming offerings, those who wish to claim the freebies will have to be Amazon Prime members, but will then have continued access to those titles, even after their subscription ends.

The first information on Amazon’s upcoming Tomb Raider and The Lord of the Rings games is “not too far away”, Amazon Games vice president Christoph Hartmann said in an interview published last month.
