How To Choose (& Change) Your Weight Class In No Rest For The Wicked

One of the most important aspects of your build in is the Weight Class, which you can choose and change as you continue your adventure. Three different settings for this stat affect your movement speed and how much gear you can equip for your character. The differences between Weight Classes can not only your speed but also what attacks you can perform against various enemies.

You can change which Weight Class your character has in the like adventure of by increasing or decreasing your overall Weight stat. Equipping more items will raise your Weight while removing gear will lower it to change your Weight Class. There are three Weight Classes in the game that you can have depending on your total item load — Light, Normal, and Heavy.

Every Weight Class could be beneficial to a certain type of build in. For example, someone who uses fast melee weapons at close range and wants to dodge enemy attacks nimbly should aim for the Light Weight Class. While you may not be able to wear heavy armor or weapons for better protection and damage, you'll be able to avoid most attacks instead of simply tanking hits.

Dexterity-based builds tend to focus more on speed over power, making the Light Weight Class perfect for characters of that build. In contrast, those who use Strength tend to favor power over speed, so the Heavy Weight Class makes more sense.

Anyone who desires to wear stronger armor but still keep some ability to dodge attacks may want to consider the Normal Weight Class. Equipping gear that brings your Weight to a happy middle ground will let you use better weapons and armor without sacrificing too much mobility. However, you'll have to learn how to block just as often as you dodge in this unique -like game to reduce the damage your character takes.
