Like many open-world games, your map in is mostly hidden at first, unless you manage to fix Radio Towers scattered in different areas of the world. Repairing these monuments to old technology will help you track down other interesting areas of regions you explore. However, you need to have the right materials for certain Towers to get them back into working condition.

Radio Towers act as bases on your map, representing places you can easily travel to if you want to get your bearings while traveling around a section of the map. The gameplay of revolves around the exploration of the world, so a Tower's revealed information is crucial to discovering something new. You may need to overcome challenges or defeat certain enemies to reach some Towers located further away.

The only way to repair a Radio Tower is to bring enough of two different materials required to fix the machine and use the items needed once you do. When you approach a Tower, there should be a central control panel somewhere at the base. When you interact with this panel, you'll discover which materials found from the new world of are needed to fix the machinery in a specific Tower.

The number of resources needed to repair Towers depends on which one you find and where it is found on your map. For example, a Radio Tower discovered in an area you can only access later in may require more materials to fix than a Tower you found early in your adventure.
