Galaxy Z Fold 6 Prototype Shows A Taller And Wider External Screen, Almost Looking Like The Galaxy S24 Ultra

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is going to go official in a couple of months, and based on all the information that we have so far, Samsung is looking to make some changes to its foldable phone, which is always a good thing. I believe that the past iterations have been held back in terms of design, and this is a great opportunity for Samsung to deliver something nicer. Now, a tip has surfaced showing a prototype of the device, which shows how the phone will have a slightly taller and wider display than last year, and it honestly looks good.

It's finally time to consider the Galaxy Z Fold 6 as a likable foldable thanks to a taller and wider front screen

The picture of the prototype was posted on Twitter, and although it is just a very early stage, it gives us an idea of what to expect. Considering how this is a mock-up model, I would also urge you to take this with a grain of salt since Samsung could change that going forward.

As you can see in the image above, the prototype carries an aspect ratio of 22:9, which is slightly different from the aspect ratio found on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which is 21.6:18. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, for the sake of comparison, has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is safe to say that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is going to look different as far as the outer screen is concerned, but we are going to have to wait for some proper renders to appear before we are able to make a judgment on how good or bad it looks.

For those who have been waiting for the event, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, along with all the other devices, will be announced in July. There are also rumors of a premium and an affordable variant of the device, but we are not really sure if Samsung is going to go that route. I mean, the phone in its base state is already going to be pretty expensive, and I do not understand how much more the Ultra variant will cost.
