Dynasty Warriors: Origins to Release This January on PC and Consoles; New Trailer Released

Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the new entry in the long-running hack-and-slash series by Omega Force, will launch on PC and consoles in early 2025.

During yesterday's State of Play, a new overview trailer confirmed that the new entry in the series will be released on PlayStation 5 on January 17th. Koei Tecmo later confirmed that the game will launch on the same day on PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S as well.

In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, players will take on the role of a nameless martial artist with amnesia, who will find themselves in the middle of the dramatic conflict of the Three Kingdoms era, playing an active role in the conflict that will shape the history of the Three Kingdoms themselves and allow players to experience a story that is, by now, rather well-known in exciting new ways. Musou officers will accompany the protagonist during a journey where he will encounter important historical figures and conquer battlefields in the intense 1 vs. 1000 action the series is known for.
