However, during the EA Investor Day, fans got to hear some details about the development process for the upcoming Battlefield game. So far, it's been specified that four development studios are working on this project in total, all taking more time for the development cycle.
In July 2023, following several rumors, Electronic Arts confirmed to be working on a Black Panther game in development by Cliffhanger Games, a Seattle-based studio founded in 2021 by Kevin Stephens. At the time, EA said it would be a third-person single player action/adventure game featuring an original story.
