Nintendo Switch Lite OLED Mod Shows Its Gorgeous Screen in New Trailer; Release Date Confirmed

A Nintendo Switch Lite OLED mod is being released this week, and a new trailer was shared online to showcase the gorgeous screen that users will be able to install on the system in just a few days.

The SUPER5 OLED mod for the Nintendo Switch Lite, created by Taki Udon, will go on sale in multiple variants on September 26th at 10 a.m. Hong Kong time. The new screen boasts significantly higher brightness, contrast ratio, and color gamut compared to the vanilla screen, resulting in a much more pleasing experience that is more in line with the one that regular Switch OLED users can have on their system. A trailer was also shared to showcase the gorgeous screen, and you can check it out below.

The portable experience seems to have been a focus for Nintendo from the very beginning of development, as AMD's bid to create the system didn't go through due to performance and power consumption issues in handheld mode.
