Command and Conquer Might Be Getting Another Remastered Collection

Command and Conquer fans recently got a nice surprise from Electronic Arts when the publisher released the Ultimate Collection on Steam alongside other EA Classics. This bundle includes Command & Conquer, The Covert Operations, Red Alert, Red Alert: Counterstrike, Red Alert: The Aftermath, Tiberian Sun, Tiberian Sun Firestorm, Red Alert 2, Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge, Renegade, Generals, Generals: Zero Hour, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: Kane's Wrath, Red Alert 3, Red Alert 3: Uprising, and Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, for a price of $9.88.

However, there might be more on the way. As originally spotted by YouTuber Zade, the release of the Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection was accompanied on Steam by a blog post from Jim Vessella, a producer on the previous Remastered Collection. Vessella referred to that release from a few years ago as the 'first' Remastered Collection, and that wording was enough to get fans hyped up for a potential second Remastered Collection.

After all, the remaster only included two of the many games released throughout the franchise's history. As such, EA might be secretly working on remastering more of those classic titles.

Of course, this is speculation for the time being, but the successful release of Command and Conquer: Remastered Collection certainly had to pave the way for similar initiatives. Wccftech's resident strategy guy Chris Wray heaped a lot of the praise on it:

Yes, this is a nostalgia trip, but it's also a genuinely great remake of two of the most iconic and influential strategy games ever made.

I'm droning now; let's summarise before the summary. This Remastered Collection is one of the best remasters ever made. It's cheap, fun, engaging, and a game that proves that listening to the fans when making something can result in a fantastic result. For Kane.
