However, not everyone will feel like engaging with this optional content straight away, instead preferring to go back to it after beating the main story.

Thankfully, most games allow players to continue playing even after the credits have rolled. This ensures that those who would rather complete the main story immediately in order to avoid breaking its pacing and flow, can still enjoy everything else the game has to offer. Naturally, players heading into are wondering whether it will allow them to continue playing once it ends, especially considering how it borrows several aspects from soulslike games, including its level design and secrets.

Despite the exceptional qualities of Black Myth: Wukong, the souls-like RPG has some necessary improvements to make, for a truly immersive experience.

This is the only way that players can go and complete the optional content left in.

It doesn't automatically send the player to before the boss fight, but instead just ends the game. Fortunately, players can still continue playing so long as they made sure to save just before.
