Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Official AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation Support Brings Massive Performance Improvements

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the latest entry in the popular series released a few months back on PC and consoles, now officially supports AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation, which brings widespread massive performance improvements.

AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation support was added to the game with the latest update, allowing users with modern GPUs from all vendors to enjoy enhanced performance. The comparison videos below, shared by 54 FPS and Nick, highlight how low-end and mid-end systems benefit from AMD's technology, as performance can even double in certain scenarios. As the game doesn't support AMD Anti-Lag yet, however, the increased performance will come at the cost of input delay.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is far from being the best entry in the series. As Kai highlighted in his review, the latest entry in the franchise builds off the previous entries' strengths and weaknesses without having its own identity, resulting in a middling game.

A weak campaign with an unsatisfactory cliffhanger resolution, a Zombies map that's little more than rebranded DMZ, and a selection of multiplayer maps taken straight from Modern Warfare II (2009), Modern Warfare III barely stands up on its own merits, especially if you've thrown countless hours into last year's entry and have plenty to carry forward.
