Black Ops 6 live action trailer released as Game Pass launch announced

Activision has released a live action trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which is viewable below.

Additionally, Microsoft has officially confirmed reports that Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass on day one.

Activision will fully reveal the game during a showcase on June 9.

“We’re excited to confirm that Game Pass members will be able to jump into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on day one with Game Pass,” Microsoft said in an Xbox Wire post.

“As revealed last week, we will have a special Xbox Games Showcase followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct on June 9, 2024, at 10am PT, where we’ll share even more details on what’s coming in this all-new Call of Duty. Get eyes on the first in-depth look at gameplay in this dark new chapter of the Black Ops series.”

Shortly after launching a teaser site for the game, Activision announced last Friday that Black Ops 6 is this year’s Call of Duty.

The Xbox Games Showcase will be the first to include games across Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios.

It’s been claimed that Microsoft will use the event to announce new Gears of War and Doom games.

The platform holder is also expected to confirm release dates for upcoming titles including Starfield‘s Shattered Space expansion, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, Flight Simulator 2024 and Avowed.
