It is now being reported that the Apple Watch Series 10 will come with a new sleep apnea detection feature, which will be the flagship health-centric feature this year.

Mark Gurman reports that sleep apnea detection is coming to the Apple Watch Series 10, but it will not be available at launch, which means that the company will offer the feature with a software upgrade either later this year or the next. The feature will be built on the wearable's existing sleep tracking, which will determine if the wearer has sleep apnea, taking into account various factors and health metrics. The feature will then notify the user if he or she should get further help from medical professionals.

Due to the exclusion of the blood oxygen saturation monitor, it remains to be seen how the company will detect sleep apnea in the Apple Watch Series 10.
