Another Update Is On The Way For Stardew Valley

Following the recent release of Stardew Valley Update 1.6, creator Eric «ConcernedApe» Barone has announced Patch 1.6.2 to fix a number of gameplay bugs, translation errors, and graphical issues. Patch 1.6.1 for Stardew Valley is already available for download, and fans are pleasantly surprised to see even more quick changes on the way.

Since its release back in 2016, Stardew Valley has become one of the most successful and beloved life-sim games of all time. From its relaxing gameplay and pixel aesthetic to its wholesome story and lovable characters, players have been enjoying the indie title for over eight years. The recent Update 1.6 marks the biggest patch to date for the game, and another round of fixes will soon be available.

ConcernedApe has revealed Patch 1.6.2 for Stardew Valley, which will mostly feature adjustments to changes made in Update 1.6 along with a number of smaller quality of life fixes. Some of the updates in Patch 1.6.2 include translation fixes, such as an issue with the Luau event in Portuguese, changes to tea and wine sprites, removal of an unexpected soft lock, a visual change to the NPC Willy, and adjustments to poison levels of certain items. Update 1.6 saw a number of changes to artisanal goods in Stardew Valley, which will also be slightly reworked with an additional edibility scaling in Patch 1.6.2. Fans have praised ConcernedApe for the rapid fixes targeting reported issues, with many highlighting the creator's dedication as a key to the continued success of Stardew Valley.

Update 1.6 has already drawn in massive numbers of new and returning players, boosting the game to a new all-time player record for Stardew Valley on Steam. As more fans log on to enjoy the new content, bug fixes are quickly being addressed by ConcernedApe.
