WWE 2K24 ECW update adds barbed wire baseball bat and more hidden weapons

WWE 2K24‘s ECW pack is out now, adding new wrestlers such as CM Punk, as well as new hidden weapons.

While not initially announced to be part of the update, fans were quick to notice that the pack includes new weapons hidden under the ring. These include a barbed wire baseball bat, a door, and light tubes.

These weapons were all staples of ECW television in the 90s, and in some cases mark the first inclusion of said weapon in over a decade.

The first of several WWE 2K24 DLC packs, the ECW Punk Pack includes CM Punk, marking his return to the series after a decade, The Dudley Boys, The Sandman and Terry Funk.

The full patch notes for WWE 2K24 update 1.08, which you can read below, also include new entrances for some wrestlers and fixes across the game’s various modes.

GENERAL

• Ring Announcer selection is now available in Universe match options.

Presentation

• Improvements to Super Finisher Visual Effects timing

• Addressed reported concern where user interface was obscured in ladder matches

• Improved Blackout payback trigger timing

CAA

• Custom arenas with RAW, Smack, SMACK, or NXT in their name will brand the referee appropriately.

• The SmackDown movie is now named correctly.

• Addressed reported concern where the video billboard would lose its customizations.

• Users can now add customizations to parts with LED Displays while the display is active. The display will temporarily turn off; after applying the customization, the display will turn back on.

CAS

• Colourless emboss setting is now saved correctly.

• Logos no longer shrink when editing 1st color.

CAE/CAVic/CAS

• When saving CAS, entrance, or victory, a prompt will be displayed to allow saving changes to Universe mode.

Deletion Utility

• The Custom Image category now displays the current utilization of
