Where To Find Rice Cocoons In Black Myth: Wukong

has a variety of materials you can find during your travels, but Rice Cocoons are one of the rarest without a clear purpose. These items are food for a divine creature you can interact with once you gain access to a secret area. You have to help out an NPC first before you can truly get the most out of the Rice Cocoons you collect.

Rice Cocoons can only be gathered when you defeat the Second Sister, a main story boss in Chapter 4. Similar to other progression bosses like Captain Wise-Voice in , this will unlock a path to a new area. Beating the Second Sister opens up a hole that leads you to where Rice Cocoons can be found.

Refined Iron Sand is a valuable resource available in Chapter 3 and beyond of Black Myth: Wukong. Learn where you can find it and what to do with it.

Rice Cocoons can be found as rare item drops from breaking web cocoon objects in The Webbed Hollow area unlocked when you take down the Second Sister. Simply run around from the Keeper's Shrine here and break as many web sacs as you can to get a Rice Cocoon or two eventually. You can always reset the objects by teleporting away and returning to the area through its Shrine.

From Xu Dog, you can get a Special-made Bone-Strengthening Pellet that heals Chen Loong and causes him to join you at the Crouching Tiger Temple hub area.

Chen Loong also gives you the Ruyi Scroll, which gives you access to the Painted Realm. Travel to this place to discover the Zodiac Village, an area you must have access to for new interactions with Chen Loong. You'll want to get the Proto-Armourworm item, which Chen Loong can harvest
