When The First Descendant's New Descendants Hailey & Ultimate Freyna Will Be Playable

Season 1 of will be launched on August 29, 2024. It aims to bring several changes to the game, including new Descendants and ultimate weapons. Season 1 will also add a vendor who may finally allow you to get that blueprint that just refuses to drop.

While new vendors and mechanics are exciting, most fans are looking forward to the new Descendants, Hailey, and Ultimate Freyna. Hailey has been teased for several weeks, while Ultimate Freyna is an upgrade of an existing fan favorite. However, unlike with the release of Luna and Ultimate Valby, Hailey and Ultimate Freyna will be launched separately.

Many Descendants are viable characters, but two stand out for being practically necessary for The First Descendant’s more difficult content.

Season 1 of will be launching at the end of August, and it will be starting off strong. Hailey will become available for players during the first major update on the season, which will happen on August 29, 2024. This means that players do not need to wait much longer for the highly-anticipated sniper with a heart of gold to join their roster.

Unfortunately, Hailey's transcendent modules are a different story. Each Descendant has transcendent modules that are exclusive to the character, such as Viessa's Cold Snap Watch, which leaves a lingering area of damage with her Cold Snap ability. However, Nexon is not planning on releasing Hailey's transcendent modules until the last major update of the season on October 10, 2024. This means that Hailey's popularity may, unfortunately, freeze like her abilities until the transcendent module launches.

While each normal Descendant is powerful in their own right, ultimate Descendants are a step above the rest. In addition to receiving higher stats than their mundane counterparts, ultimate Descendants unlock exclusive transcendent modules that increase their power even further.
