The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power just came back for its second season, and Amazon Prime Gaming is showing up to appropriately offer a number of free The Lord of the Rings games for Prime users.
I don’t know about you, but Astro Bot has gotten me in the mood to play more platformers. I’d forgotten how joyful a colorful adventure like that can be if it’s expertly crafted. There are plenty of games you can play if you want to scratch that itch, like this year’s Penny’s Big Breakaway or a selection of oldies on Xbox Game Pass, but there’s a brand new 2D platformer out this week that should be next on your list if you have Astro Bot fever.
During the Back to Hogwarts 2024 Showcase, Warner Bros. Games announced the LEGO Harry Potter Collection, a remaster of 2010's LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1–4 and 2011's Lego Harry Potter: Years 5–7. Priced at $39.99, it will include both games as well as two DLCs: a Character Pack featuring Godric Gryffindor, Harry (Yule Ball), Helga Hufflepuff, Lockhart (Straightjacket), Luna (Lion Head), Peeves, Hermione (Pink Dress), Ron Weasley (Ghoul), Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin, as well as a Spell Pack featuring Cantis, Densaugeo, Ducklifors, Melofors, and Tentaclifors. The game is set to launch on October 8 digitally for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
Amazon Prime subscribers can claim up to three free Lord of the Rings games in a new Prime Gaming offer hyping up The Rings of Power season 2. All of them are pretty good, but I suspect many people won't be able or eager to play one of them.
Season 1 of will be launched on August 29, 2024. It aims to bring several changes to the game, including new Descendants and ultimate weapons. Season 1 will also add a vendor who may finally allow you to get that blueprint that just refuses to drop.

I am utterly convinced that the new leaks about Moze’s true identity revelation in 2.5 are hinting at a much larger consequence, which may even be beneficial to us, players. At the moment, the popular turn-based RPG by developer HoYoverse is in the middle of Version 2.4, a patch that distanced itself from the Penacony storyline and moved back the Xianzhou Luofu for a brand-new story arc revolving around the Wardance festival and Hoolay, a notorious prisoner kept in the Shackling Prison – who is expected to become a boss in 2.5.
