While some can be fulfilling in their own right, it doesn't take long to start questioning whether there are any rewards in place that could make some of the more tedious activities worthwhile.

Although there are several different kinds of Intel in, World Intel itself is a fairly generic category, referring to just about anything that's marked on the map to do in the open areas outside of proper questlines. Some of these should be immediately familiar to those used to open-world games, like the towers that mimic the feature most famously associated with Ubisoft games, but others like Protorelics offer more unique experiences. Finishing everything in a region notes that all the World Intel in that area has been found, which makes moving on feel more comfortable.
