The group has made waves in the community as players have begun blocking them en masse on Steam, ensuring that their save data will be safe from the cheaters.

Fortunately for users on Steam, blocking the members of the hacker group should ensure that they never encounter them during a multiplayer session, although reports differ on the system's effectiveness. As for what happens when a cheater is met in The Lands Between, players should report any suspicious activity; after enough reports are logged, FromSoftware will take action and ban the suspected player either temporarily or permanently depending on how many complaints it's received.
