Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2's Early Access Begins, Launch Trailer Released

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is now available early for players who own the Gold and Ultra editions of the game.

The sequel to 2011’s Warhammer 40K: Space Marine is a third person hack and slash featuring a mix of ranged and melee combat. In the game, players step back into the boots of Lieutenant Demetrian Titus, formerly of the Ultramarines Chapter of Space Marines and now a member of the Deathwatch. Due to a number of events, Titus is reinstated in the Ultramarines and tasked with defending the Imperium against a Tyranid threat.

Space Marine 2 features a full single player campaign (with three player co-op), PvE co-op Operations missions, and even 6v6 PvP action. In the latter modes, players can build and play their own Space Marine, complete with customization of skills and appearance.

Saber Interactive recently shared a Year 1 roadmap for the game, offering players a peek at the post-launch cosmetics and content the team has in store for the game.

The Gold Edition and Ultra Editions of Space Marine 2 offer four days of early access ahead of the game’s September 9 launch and include the Season Pass. The Ultra Edition also offers access to the Ultramarines Champion Pack, a set of Ultramarine themed cosmetics for the Operations and Eternal War PvP modes.
