Whether you're playing Operations Mode or Eternal War, an optimized heavy build will help your team quickly destroy hordes of Tyranids and squash the heretic rebellion. After beating the campaign, there is ample opportunity to perform gruesome finishers in two game modes. Decide between six classes in the Armouring Hall and head into the fray of Operations Mode or Eternal War. For heavy builds, there are key weapons and perks needed to maximize class potential. Heavy builds deal the most damage and have the thickest armor, but also move the slowest. Focus upgrades on damage output and boosting Iron Halo.

The auxiliary modes of are squad-focused games. Each squad member has a role to play. For heavy builds, this means dealing damage and staying alive. The heavy class is versatile in terms of dealing ranged damage. While the class does not allow for a melee weapon to be equipped, heavy builds make up for close-range damage with strong primary weapons and a unique special ability, the Iron Halo. Since heavy builds can’t rely on melee finishers to regenerate armor, the priority should be to activate Iron Halo as often as possible.
