Visions of Mana: Best Class For Each Character & How To Unlock Them

There are 45 unique classes in , which can make it tough to select the best. Each of the five main characters has nine class options, each divided into the corresponding Elemental Vessel. These are gained at specific story points, but once unlocked can be used freely. While there are good classes in their own right, you need to also be mindful of team synergy. It might be overkill if you make a full team of healers or have no one that deals great damage.

It is also important to know which playable characters you have access to during the storyline. The protagonist, Val, is along for all of. But, there may be times when allies Careena, Morley, Palamena, and Julei may not be around. This is mostly near the start of the game, but other instances can arise as part of the plot or during a side mission. When that happens, you may want to change your current classes.

Similar to its predecessor,, you also begin with only a standard base class. In that other title, you would eventually need to plant seeds to gain higher end classes. But, now you can simply play more of the story to gain the classes you truly want. Still, a great class might not work on all bosses and there is an additional backup.

Visions of Mana is the latest entry in the long-running JRPG series from Square Enix, but is it the comeback the franchise really needed?

YouTuber Kakuchopurei showed off all the powerful attacks each class uses. This includes Class Strikes for the more melee inclined, and Elemental Transformations to bring out more magical powers. Still, there isn’t a huge amount of visual variety as most classes use the same base weapons.

Both Julei and Palamena join on later in. While you technically have their Elemental Vessels to unlock the classes early, you can’t utilize them until they are truly playable. Consider the class “locked” until they officially join the team.
