Vampire Suvivors coming to PlayStation later this month

Vampire Survivors is coming to PlayStation later this month.

The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on August 29, 2024.

All of the game’s DLC will be released on PlayStation platforms on the same day.

Vampire Survivors is a roguelike shoot ’em up which sees players choosing one of numerous characters, who then automatically attack as the player fights through waves of monsters with the aim being to survive for as long as possible.

The game has received several DLC packs adding new characters, new weapons and new environments to the game. The game has also received crossover content with games such as Among Us, which saw players play Vampire Survivors as Among Us characters.

The game was released for PC, Mac, Xbox consoles and mobile in 2022, before hitting Switch last year.

It was well received by critics, earnings it scores ranging from 86 to 95 on review aggregation site Metacritic.

Vampire Survivors won Action Game of the Year at last year’s DICE Awards, as well as the Best Game and Best Design prizes at the BAFTA Games Awards.

Plans to bring Vampire Survivors to PlayStation consoles were announced alongside Contra-themed DLC for the game, which was released for other platforms in May.
