Balatro is getting The Witcher, Vampire Survivors, Among Us and Dave the Diver decks

Balatro is getting a series of DLC collaboration decks.

Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, The Friends of Jimbo update will see decks based on The Witcher, Vampire Survivors, Among Us, and Dave The Diver join the game.

The free update will be added to the game later today on all platforms.

Balatro developer LocalThunk previously teased that “surprises” were coming to Balatro this summer, of which these decks are presumably among those.

Celebrating two million copies sold earlier this month, LocalThunk also revealed that the game’s first major update would be coming in 2025.

“This update will bring new ideas and strategies to the game and as a token of huge appreciation to the game’s brilliant and passionate community, the update will be completely free,” they wrote.

VGC’sBalatro review called it “gaming’s best time thief since Vampire Survivors”.

“Balatro is an astonishingly addictive take on Poker that’s utterly impossible to put down,” we wrote. “Occasional difficulty spikes aside, it’s a piece of simplistic genius that we’ll keep on our Steam Deck forever.”

It was recently announced that Balatro will be getting physical editions.

The physical release will land on Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, and will come with a pack of Joker / booster cards.
