V Rising 1.0 Update Patch Note Breaks Down New Content

Vampire-themed survival game V Rising has fully launched with the completely new area Ruins of Mortium, new bosses, new mechanics, and more in update 1.0. After a 24-hour maintenance period, the update went live, and patch notes were released. The notes detail the new features, as well as quality of life changes to V Rising.

Originally released as an Early Access title in May 2022, V Rising received two major updates before its official launch. Players wander the world as a vampire, taking out bosses with special blood to learn new skills. V Rising has castle building, enslaving humans, and learning magic as part of the standard gameplay loop.

Update 1.0 for V Rising was released after some server downtime. The largest bit of new content is a new region titled the Ruins of Mortium. Centered around the Legion of Noctum, Dracula's followers are found throughout the area. Rift Incursions, a world event that pits players against loyalist of Dracula from the Shadow Realm, are a new mechanic for the title.

Multiple pieces of new content were included in 1.0 aside from the Ruins of Mortium area. V Rising's Castlevania crossover went live with Simon Belmont the Vampire Hunter boss wandering the Dunley Farmlands region. Changes were made to fishing, including a new V Blood enemy focused on the skill. Players can also attack Cargo Travelers and the mercenaries guarding them for a chance to find rare loot.

There were various quality of life changes in 1.0, notably Bat Form being able to circumvent teleportation restrictions on PvE servers. The title also offers three difficulty settings for those that want more or less of challenge while playing. Instead of having to rebuild your whole castle when looking to relocate one's base in V Rising, players can now use the Castle Relocation Heart. Simply place this in the new area and a stash with all
