Ubisoft Has No Plans to Delay Star Wars Outlaws

After posting an exclusive 10-minute gameplay video of Star Wars Outlaws to IGN's YouTube, Ubisoft has come under a tirade of negative feedback and commentary on what they have seen in the game. The video received more dislikes than likes, which is troubling. In just 24 hours of the video being uploaded to YouTube, the video received 13,000 dislikes to a ratio of 8,000 likes.

However, Ubisoft seems highly confident that people will love Star Wars Outlaws and has no plans to delay the game in any capacity. Despite the negativity being spread online, Star Wars Outlaws is still set for the August 30 release.

The negative commentary was so severe that a financial analyst from Bank of America commented on the situation and asked Ubisoft during yesterday's earnings call whether they were considering delaying the game. While the answer of a firm "no" is in place, they have assured the audience that there is more gameplay footage to come, and it will showcase the game and the wonders players have to look forward to.

From experience, Ubisoft has delayed games to improve them after receiving negative feedback from the audience. However, Star Wars Outlaws has already gone gold, so there is no chance of the game being delayed for further polishing or adjustments.

The feedback for the game seems to be mixed.
