Today's Connections Answers & Hints For February 28, 2024 (Puzzle #261)

February 28th brings a brand new collection of and today's answers shouldn't be too difficult for fans of the game to solve. The categories aren't too niche in today's game and there aren't many words that could be confused with other sections.

The word-grouping game has gathered a lot of attention since the popularity of back in 2020. When acquired their entire daily game section had a big resurgence with many new games being created to help players find more simple gameplay games to add to their morning routines. Connections is fairly new in the scope of daily games, but has hooked quite a few players since it began.

Before we fully spoil today's answers, we wanted to provide a few hints in the form of the daily categories.

If there is one thing we know in life it is cheeses and today's yellow category was a quick win for us. AMERICAN and SWISS stood out right away and it only took seconds to solve the other two.

The second category in order and the second win for us. HURDLE and JAVELIN took center stage right away and it wasn't hard to match up the other two to Olympic-like events.

We didn't score these last two as quickly as the others and the blue one was definitely our «leftover» category. We've never heard of a CUBAN heel before, unless you're talking about early 90's wrestler Razor Ramon​​​​​​.

This was barely a win for us today as Double SPACE just didn't click in our heads. DATE and JEOPARDY definitely led the charge, and blind guessing scored us today's win.
